FabCafe Hida opened in 2016 in Hida Furukawa, Japan, in a renovated old house with a history of over 100 years that once flourished as a sake brewery and woodworking atelier.
Inheriting its time-honored manufacturing DNA, FabCafe Hida will build a next-generation manufacturing platform by utilizing digital fabrication equipment such as 3D printers and laser cutters.
In order to open the door to the future, we combine the traditional techniques and wisdom of Hida with technology.
