Table Matters——台泰設計共創計畫

「TTCC Project 台泰設計共創計劃」是由台灣設計師連線發起，邀請來自台灣與泰國的設計師，聚焦於材料語言與工藝實踐的國際交流創作計畫。

2025年以「Table Matter」為主軸，從器物的尺度與文化語境出發，並且與泰國的製造端協作，透過探索桌上型物件的創作，思考物件如何參與我們的日常生活、連結我們與自然與感知經驗，也希冀透過這樣的計畫，觸發產業的開發動能與對話。

從桌上型物件的尺度與使用情境出發，透過木頭、鋁材、陶瓷等媒材，創作出一系列花器等桌上雕塑。這些物件不僅是視覺作品，作為「關係的媒介」，不只是使用，也是觀看、擺放、記憶與想像。花器在本展中成為重新思考器物角色的起點，也是一場設計與工藝、文化與自然之間的對話實驗。

Initiated by Taiwan Designers’ Web (TWDW), the TTCC Project is an international co-creation program that brings together designers from Taiwan and Thailand. It focuses on the language of materials and the practice of craftsmanship as a foundation for meaningful cultural exchange.

In 2025, the project adopts the theme “Table Matter”, inviting designers to explore the scale and cultural context of objects through collaborations with Thai manufacturers. By focusing on the creation of tabletop pieces, the project investigates how objects participate in daily life, cultural narratives, and sensory experience. It also aims to spark dialogue and innovation within regional industries.

By working with materials such as wood and aluminum, designers develop a series of vases and sculptural pieces that reflect the scale and context of tabletop objects. These works go beyond visual aesthetics—they serve as carriers of relationships, engaging not only in use, but also in how we observe, arrange, recall, and imagine.

Through such collaboration, the boundaries between function and symbolism are deliberately blurred. It invites us to reconsider the purpose of design, not merely to create objects, but to build a shared cultural dialogue through material expression.
