Global Goals Jam 2021: Beyond Human Centred Design | Student Edition [Thailand & Malaysia]

FabCafe Bangkok and FabCafe Kuala Lumpur would like to invite 50 students age between 12-17 years old to join the Global Goals Jam 2021. Beyond human-centered design! Let’s learn how to design from environment perspective!

For this year, the theme is Beyond Human Centred Design and we will be focusing on designing for non-human stakeholders ie. animals and plants. The topics we are covering revolves around:
1) Tigers     2) Coral Reef     3) Dugong and seagrass

Come and learn how to use design thinking to ideate and find solutions to challenges found in this 3 areas. Let’s learn how to design from environment perspective!

Design Thinking is an iterative process in which we seek to understand the user, challenge assumptions, and redefine problems in an attempt to identify alternative strategies and solutions that might not be instantly apparent with our initial level of understanding. At the same time, Design Thinking provides a solution-based approach to solving problems. It is a way of thinking and working as well as a collection of hands-on methods.
