Residency Program
“COUNTER POINT” is a three-month residency program that allows participants to use FabCafe Kyoto as their base (accommodation is not included).
We support artists and researchers in developing their activities while in Kyoto.

Since opening in 2015 as MTRL KYOTO and joining the global FabCafe network in 2017, FabCafe Kyoto has spent over ten years cultivating an open environment that encourages innovationâwhere creativity and technology meet beyond the divide between digital and analog.
