CONSCIOUSNESS HACKING TOKYO

Consciousness Hacking Tokyo is a new chapter in a global community exploring technology as a catalyst for psychological, emotional and spiritual flourishing. Consciousness hacking is an inside-out perspective on how technology can serve us by changing our relationship to the world, rather than the world itself. Meetings typically include insightful talks, community building, and support for new ideas and concepts.

Have an idea for a cool EEG or meditation app? How about a new approach to therapy that uses sound and light? Maybe you’re interested in creating software to improve personal development. This is the place to explore and present your ideas with a supportive group with a focus of helping bring them to reality.

Consciousness Hacking Tokyo, Vol. 02 – Technology, Meditation, and Psychedelics Collide: Insights from the First Annual Awakened Futures Summit

What lies at the intersection of technology, meditation, and psychedelics? What is emerging at the groundbreaking frontiers of this new landscape? Technology has become an absolute powerhouse in the modern era, giving humanity the belief (for better and worse) that the only thing limiting us is our own imagination. Contemplative practices such as meditation, mindfulness and yoga have gone mainstream, backed by a wealth of scientific evidence to support it. On top of that, we are now entering a psychedelic renaissance as scientists, therapists and the many indigenous cultures who have used plant medicine for ages are once again giving a voice to psychedelic’s incredible transformative power.

Over 500 people from a host of diverse backgrounds gathered in San Francisco, California recently to explore this question in depth at Consciousness Hacking’s first annual Awakened Futures Summit. We’ll be sharing some insights from our time there with you so that we can collaboratively envision what we can do with our futures here in Tokyo.
