Organizers

FabCafe is a place that conveys and spreads the “Fab” spirit in a delicious, fun, and easy-to-understand way that is not constrained by the logic of mass production or the market. Digital fabrication machines such as 3D printers and laser cutters are installed in the café where people gather for workshops, creative community meetups, or a good cup of coffee.

Thanks to her ecological transition, Helene went from a career in the cosmetics industry to starting Mottainai Transition.

The goal of Mottainai Japan is to support English speakers and especially expats to move to a less impactful lifestyle in Japan. Helene also works with international companies to help them co-create their vision and inspire change in their organisation to move to a greener way of operating.

The Global Goals Jam (GGJ) Tokyo community gathers to achieve a sustainable, socially responsible and anti-poverty world. The GGJ is a 2 days designathon where local Jammers (workshop participants) utilize design thinking methodology to create interventions aimed at short term targets in support of the long term goals.
