Vivat Veritas
Chie, Designer and Founder of Vivat Veritas
Chie aims to work with fabrics and styles that span multiple dimensions. Her works span from casual to formal, from weddings to nightwear. Chie’s unique style has developed over the years to draw from both her native Japanese upbringing and her time and experiences living internationally. She enjoys working in any and all fabric but has found recently that reusing traditional Japanese kimono fabric has gained traction amongst a new and growing clientele.
Chie began sewing after graduating from college. What was at first just a project grew into a small business, Vivat Veritas, which aims to take the best of past fashion cycles and apply them to today. The Vivat Veritas aesthetic is one that aims to be timeless. Vivat Veritas’ conceptual framework can be summed in the following way; Uniquely Made, Individually Worn.

Homage Tokyo
Hargianto Pradi and Mayu, Homage Tokyo Co-founders
Homage Tokyo was created to connect people to things. As the name suggests, we want to give respect and show appreciation to the “things” and the “people” who made, owned and gave beauty to their things/belongings. We do this through activities and workshops that tell a story, such as Swap Events and How-To Workshops. We believe connecting people to things that have history and story helps in spreading fun, awareness, and appreciation.
