Kintsugi Workshop, Vol. 2

割れ、ヒビ、欠けのあるお皿を漆で繕う「金継ぎ」を、楽しく学ぶワークショップを開催します！今回のワークショップでは、手がかぶれない「新うるし」という素材を使います。初めての方にも優しい、簡易的な金継ぎです。

食器棚に眠っている「割れたけど捨てられないお皿」を直す機会。ただ器をなおすだけと思いきや、お皿が割れる前よりももっと愛おしくなる不思議な体験ぜひ味わってください。

会場でお待ちしています！

日時：11月 18日（sun）、①11:00-13:00、②14:00-16:00
場所：FabCafe Tokyo
参加費：3000円（ワンドリンク付き)
定員：8名（先着順）※当日の飛び入り参加は2名までお受けいたします。

持ち物：
・割れている器、欠けている器など2-3点。手持ちが少ない場合は私の方でもご用意しております。
・汚れてもいい服装またはエプロン手元が多少汚れるくらいですが、気になる方はお持ちくださいね。

Embrace the imperfections of your ceramic wares with the Japanese art of “gold rejoining”, or kintsugi. We will be hosting a workshop where you can create your own Kintsugi item! Kintsugi is a traditional style of patching cracks in chipped dishes with lacquer.

Participants: Reservation of maximum 8 people per 2-hour time slot
※Drop in times are available for up to 2 people

To Bring:

• 2-3 broken or chipped dishes. If you do not have any broken, chipped, etc. dishes available to do Kintsugi, we have a hand selected number of wares in stock for you to choose from. (Prices start from 500 yen)
