Kyoto Indie Meetup @ MTRL KYOTO, May 6th 2016

This Friday, May 6th, from 7PM to 10PM, we are very pleased to once again host the Kyoto Indie Meetup, a monthly gathering of game developers, creators, and anyone else with an interest in games to come exchange ideas, share games in development, and continue to build upon the thriving indie game community in Kyoto. Come have a beer, play some games, and be enjoy presentations and game demonstrations by local developers.

Coinciding with this month’s Kyoto Indie Meetup we will be officially launching the two-week MTRL KYOTO VR project which you can see more information about here. We will have two HTC VIVE stations up and running throughout the event which you will be able to try out for yourself.

* Doors will open at 7PM, presentations begin at 8PM, and the event will end at 10PM. Entrance is free. Onigiri will be available to purchase all night and pizza will be sold by the slice from 8PM.

* Please be respectful of presenters and don’t talk over them.

* We have neighbors (and many of them are elderly) so please be considerate and keep your voices down when talking outside on the veranda.

*Bicycle parking is available until 10PM in the lot behind MTRL, here is a map showing where you can park. Please be aware that at 10PM the gates to the bicycle parking lot will be closed and won’t be opened again until the morning.

* We really appreciate Kyoto Indie Meetup choosing our space to hold their events and we want you all to have a great time but we need everyone’s cooperation if we want to continue having these meetups here every month. If things get too wild there is a possibility it’ll get shut down, so please try to keep it chill and we won’t have any problems.
